The Value Of Time
I was spring cleaning my room when I found a card that I had printed. It is very meaningful and I want to share with you what is written. I do not know who the author is…if you do, please let me know.
Here goes:
To realise the value of One Year…ask the student who failed a grade.
To realise the value of One Month…ask the mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
To realise the value of One Hour…ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realise the value of One Minute…ask the person who just missed the train.
To realise the value of One Second…ask the the person who just avoided an accident.
To realise the value of One Millisecond…ask the Olympian who won a silver.
So,
Treasure every moment that you have, and treasure it more because you
Shared it with someone special…Special enough to spend your time.
And remember that time waits for no one.
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift.
That’s why it is called…The Present.
