4 Marketing Strategies To Explode Your Sales – Part 1
I have written this article to share with you some powerful internet marketing strategies that you can start to implement immediately to boost and explode your sales.
1. The “Already Reserved By XXX” Strategy
This strategy is one where you indicate in your pre-sales letter or emails that a certain number of people have already requested for a reservation of a copy of the product or that a certain number are on the priority list.
An illustration of how this works is:
“547 people have already offered us money to reserve this product. You need to hurry and place your order if you want to get your hands on this much sought after product that will multiply your income exponentially.”
The implication or message that this strategy tells your prospects is that your product must be hot if people are trying to make sure that they hold their spot before it’s released.
To add to the urgency, you can mention that you told the people they couldn’t buy before the release and they will just have to be present when the product goes live so it’s fair for everyone.
2. The Privilege or VIP Treatment Strategy
People like to think that they are having some privileges or are getting VIP treatment. It shows that they are important to you.
So you can use this “don’t share this link with anyone.. .” strategy. This clearly tells your prospects that they should be privileged to be on your list/web site because only they know about the special URL.
This special link that only they have access to should lead them to some benefits that is not widely available. It could be a link to a very good discount on an existing product, free bonus for their loyalty or free trial to a membership etc.
You can make it even more exclusive by indicating that you track their IP address and that leaking of the url link is strictly prohibited. Or you can make them sign/click on/agree to a nondisclosure contact before they get to see the web site.
3. The “Digital Version Discount” Strategy Part 1
This strategy can work both ways.
Firstly, this is effective when you are selling physical products that can also be delivered electronically or digitally. Such products may be reports, audios and videos, which can be streamed online.
What this strategy does is that you give a discount off your physical product if they do not mind the digital version, which does not involve shipping and handling fee, but that they will have to spend time downloading these files or where downloading is not available, they can only watch or listen to the videos/audios online.
4. The “Digital Version Discount” Strategy Part 2
Alternatively, you can let your prospect know that soon you will be releasing a physical version of your product that is related to the electronic version they already bought. As opposed to Strategy 3, the physical product is not the same as the electronic version, rather it is related to or compliments the electronic version.
Since they are already buyers of the electronic version, they will enjoy a steep discount off the physical product. So, non-buyers of the electric version will have to pay a higher price for the physical version and they most likely won’t want to do that.
